Good morning - Chapter 2

A modern Indian erotic story 🌹

"I hope not ten already. We still have to make up for a decade, don’t we, Aarti?"

Aarti spun around only to be nose-to-nose with Vikram leaning down, his arms resting on either side of her chair. She barely had a moment to reach out and touch his cheek before he swooped her into his arms and spun her around. She laughed out loudly hugging him back. He set her down finally, examining her from head to toe, grinning ear to ear. It did occur to her that she would meet Vikram while she was here. What she did not expect was her heart beating so loud inside her chest, she wondered if the others could even hear the music over it. Vikram’s hands continued to rest on her bare waist as he squeezed it lightly. The cool breeze and loud music broke her out of her reverie.

"You look surprised to see the bride’s brother!" Vikram beamed at her.

"Hahaha—how have you been, Vikram? I almost did not recognise you if not for—" she fell silent.

"—for?"

Your scent. It still makes me giddy in the knees…

"If not for your goofy hair!" She lied, completing her sentence, and lightly ruffling his hairstyle before returning to her chair.

Asserting his seniority of five years, Vikram playfully shoved Adi out of his chair and sat down next to Aarti, sliding his chair closer than usual to hers, as he did so. She could feel his soft cotton kurta rub against her bare forearm, sending light currents down her hand. And dare she move them forward to grab her glass, he was sure to graze the side of her breast and waist.

I have barely been here for two hours… what is happening?

Aarti leaned back lightly. She needed to slow down and take in this absolute change of energy in the air as her friends chattered on around, leaving both of them to themselves.

"So apart from my goofy hair, what else did you miss about me?"

"I never said I missed it", Aarti pretended to roll her eyes, conveniently ready to do anything with them except look at him. "But you seem to have missed a lot I think."

He looked back at her, his eyes letting her know that he has was aware of every single moment of the last ten years of her life.

"Oh", she understood.

"I’m just glad you are here right now, Aarti. We have a lot to catch up on. You’ll see."

"Oh?" She said and finally looked at him, only to find herself looking at him walk away.

For the rest of the evening, she barely caught glimpses of Vikram between the crowd. And not once was he looking at her when she looked at him. After dancing with her crazy bunch of friends, as Aarti walked back to her room after saying good night to the last of her drunk monkeys, she could not help but feel excited at the thought of knowing Vikram was under the same roof too.

After an entire decade…
